Just in case you are wondering a little bit about me.

Name: Luke G. Baldwin
Hometown: Horace, ND
Current Home: Ames, Iowa

Educational Bio:
My early education started in West Fargo, North Dakota; I graduated from West Fargo High School with honors in 2005. After high school I had no idea about what I was going to do with my life. I started school at the University of North Dakota in the Fall of 2009. After one semester I transferred to Concordia College. During my tenure at Concordia I took class at North Dakota State and Iowa State. I am a transient being.
I received a Bachelor of Arts in 2009 in Biology from Concordia College, Minnesota. Also, I minored in chemistry and neuroscience. I focused most of my time learning about bacteria, genetics, and pathogens. I planned on attending law school. However, I decided to join Teach For America.
Teach For America trained me in Chicago; I taught fourth grade for my student teaching. Next, I moved to Mission, South Dakota on the Rosebud Reservation to work at Todd County High School, home of the Todd County Falcons. I have taught everything from advanced biology to English to students with severe cognitive impairments. I am a transient being.
The past year I have worked in the IT Department for the Todd County School District. I worked as a Technology Integrationist.
Next year, I begin my training at Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine. I will be pursuing my doctorate, and I plan on specializing in production animals.

Hobbies:
I enjoy longboarding, playing hockey, walking with my wonderful dog, cooking, dehydrating meat, and keeping it real. When I am not in a classroom or at a school you usually can find me in the kitchen or in the middle of nowhere hiking. If you are curious on anything else, ask.
