Objective:
The objective of this course is to understand that biology is not just what you memorize in class; the objective of this course is to show you, the student, that everything you learn in biology can be applied. You are going to think; you are going to be wrong. However, you will begin to see that Biology is not a class you take or a book you read; biology is life. Life is confusing, hard to understand at times, and a pretty good ride; this class hopes to show students that while maintaining the professionalism of an effective classroom.

Classwork and participation 50%

Participation:
Students will receive five points a week for being alive and participating. Notwithstanding, students must be active learners who participate in classroom discussion.
Exams:
There will be three exams this summer. Two unit exams will be given; one final exam will be proctored.
Grading
A - 89.5% to 100%
B – 79.5% to 89.4%
C – 69.5% to 79.4%
D – 59.5% to 69.4%
F – Below 59.5%
